This web site will provide you with information about myself as well as my accomplishments as your Vice President, Multiculturalism with the Ontario Liberal Party during the past two years. You will find information about my intentions and goals for this coming year – all a part of the driving force in the Ontario Liberal Party’s re-election campaign in 2007.
This is a very exciting and promising time for all
Ontarians because our Liberal government is changing the face of Ontario.
Enriching equity and equality within Ontario’s ethno-cultural communities
and leveraging their diversity is a key priority for the Ontario Liberals.
Key issues for consideration and improvement include expediting Canadian
accreditation for foreign-trained professionals and simplifying their
licensing process, creating global trade opportunities by utilizing the
skills of new Canadians and expanding settlement services for new comers
to Canada. I believe I, along with you and all Ontarians, can make a
difference on all of these issues.
I believe that my education, experience, people skills and research abilities will enable me to build a strong team that will have the capability to undertake many challenging and innovative tasks -- and succeed.
I will use my strengths and experiences to serve you and serve our Party. I plan to ensure full participation and representation of all ethnic communities and work with the party leaders to ensure that we are re-elected, that the Party’s vision is realized and that Ontario becomes a land of opportunity for all.
